In 1955, Milton Heath and his father started a retail propane business in Lakeport, California delivering propane and servicing tanks.  This company thrived and grew until 1964 when the company was sold to Pacific Delta Gas.  Milton worked for Pacific Delta Gas to help with the transition of ownership until 1966 when he moved to Nevada County, California.  This was to be the birthplace of today's Superior Propane.
 
Soon Milton was hiring employees and Superior Propane was growing fast!  Milton sold his California operation in 1996 and by this time Superior Propane had become one of the largest independent propane retailers in California!  His daughter, Lindie, always by his side during this business endeavor, moved to Williams, Arizona and with the help of her father, Milton, started Superior Propane, Inc in 1997.
 
In a short ten years, Superior Propane developed into a flourishing business with approximately 1500 customers, with more every day!  To this day, Milton is a shareholder in Superior Propane, Inc. with Lindie Rodgers and William "Bill" Rodgers (as the President and Secretary respectively).  Lindie has had over 28 years experience in the industry working everything from a secretary to manager to President.  Bill has had 25 years experience in the propane trade working with Pacific Energy and United Gas as a bulk delivery driver.  He has also worked as a dispatcher, serviceman, salesman, on up to Secretary with knowledge of the entire business. 

Today, Superior Propane, Inc. has a dedicated and hardworking staff of individuals dedicated to bringing you the best the propane industry has to offer.  Our delivery trucks cover a huge region that encompasses the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff, Sedona, Winslow, Prescott, and everywhere in between.
