| How safe is
propane?
Propane is a very safe fuel to
use in both your home and
business. It is extremely
unlikely that propane will
become ignited because it has a
low range of flammability. It
also is less likely that someone
will ingest it than other fuels
like gasoline and alcohol
because it is sealed in a
container or tank at all times.
We are always working with our
clients to make sure they follow
the correct preventative
maintenance on their propane
systems and appliances so that
they can always be safe and
healthy. |

Why is
propane
a better
choice
than
electricity?
In
general,
it is
much
more
expensive
to use
electrical
appliances
than
ones
that use
propane.
It is
estimated
that you
would
spend
twice as
much on
your
cooking range,
water
heater,
dryer or
furnace
if you
are
using
electrical
appliances.
It is
also
well
known
that
propane
gas
furnaces
provide
a more
consistent
flow of
warm air
throughout
your
home,
and that
they
have a
much
longer
life
span
than
electrical
heaters. |

| Is propane a
convenient fuel to use?
Propane is one of the easiest
energy sources to use. In all
instances, propane is stored in
a secure portable tank that is
safe and can be used in
locations that other fuels can't
even supply. With propane you
are not on a grid of electricity
that can go down or relying on
piping of natural gas. The tank
is safe and secure, and is much
more self-sufficient than other
fuel sources. It is the
perfect fuel for your home or
business. It also can be
safely used in vehicles with
over ten thousand and growing
refueling stations across the
United States. |
| |
| How does
propane effect the environment
compared to other fuels?
Propane is one of the cleanest
burning fuels compared to all of
the other fossil fuel options.
It is a non-toxic fuel so is not
harmful to the soil or water. It
is also can be used in propane
fueled vehicles that can meet
much lower emission standards
than gasoline, and even meets
the Super Ultra-Low Emission
Vehicle (SULEV) standards.
Propane is
a much better fuel for the
environment than other
alternative fuel options. |
| |
| Should I
convert my vehicle to propane?
Other than contributing to
cleaner air for our community,
having a propane vehicle can
literally double the life span
of your motor. There is also no
state sales tax or road tax
charge on alternative fuels, so
the cost of your propane will be
cheaper than gasoline. We are
currently providing vehicle
propane stations at our main
facility in
Williams, Arizona and
also at our fueling station in
Flagstaff, Arizona as
well. A special feature of our
fueling stations is the ability
to send you a monthly or
end-of-year log of your propane
purchases to facilitate your tax
reporting and help you calculate
your usage.
