How do I sign up for service? 4 EASY Steps:Step 1. Before signing up for service, use the Tank Size Worksheet (located here) to estimate what tank is appropriate for you. Step 2. Call or visit Superior Propane and speak to a representative. Step 3. Arrange an appointment to have a Superior Propane Tank set at your house and run any piping necessary. Step 4. Be the envy of the neighborhood and all your friends! Back to TopWhere can I find a propane filling station for my car or truck?There are two propane vehicle filling stations in Northern Arizona. In Flagstaff on Butler Ave. and Lucky Ln. at the Mustang Gas Station (click here for a map) and in Williams on Frank Way at the Superior Propane Office. (click here for a map) Back to TopWhat if I smell gas inside my home?If you smell gas or suspect a leak, DON'T TOUCH electrical switches, light matches, or use the phone. GET EVERYONE OUT of the building. SHUT OFF the gas at the outside tank or meter. CALL your gas supplier and/or the fire department from a neighbor's phone. What if I smell gas outside my home at or near the tank?The smell of gas at or near a storage tank can be common if the tank gauge is below 10%, however, smelling gas anywhere should always be treated as a leak - call Superior Propane using the contact info on our Home Page Back to TopHow is the tank placed at my home?[This is the answer to the question.] Back to TopWhen will my tank be filled?Your account will be placed on a route. This route is a "Keep Full" route, in other words, our delivery driver will deliver propane to your tank whenever he or she is in your area. If, by some chance, your tank gauge is at or below 20%, Please call our office and we will be sure to deliver propane to you as soon as possible to avoid an interruption in service. Either by mail or phone with a check or credit card, in person at the Superior Propane Office in Williams with a check, credit card, or cash. Back to TopWhat size tank do I need?Your tank size depends on how many propane appliances you have and what appliances they are. Back to TopWhat if a pilot light, won't light?(Read the appliance operating instructions BEFORE attempting to light any pilot.) If you have trouble lighting the pilot or keeping it lit, there's normally a safety feature preventing it from working. If it won't light, shut off the gas to that appliance and call you gas supplier. Back to TopWhat to do BEFORE you dig.Before digging in your yard at or near your propane tank or between the tank and your house, garage, or other structure call Superior Propane. Failure to call could result in damage to your underground gas line. This would result in escaping gas which could lead to injury or death. Superior Propane will schedule a time with you to come to the site and mark the location of the underground line or lines to avoid any damage. Your safety is our priority!
